The Character-Building Site
The Character-Building Site contains a "collection of stories that can be used to teach values to youth. All of these stories are original anecdotes or brief biographies that can be shared with children at school, in family meetings, in religious classes, at scout meetings, or around the campfire. In Scouts, each anecdote would be called a Scoutmaster Minute or Coach's Corner. In addition to the anecdotes and the short biographies of individuals who exemplify one or more of society's core values, [the site includes] a bibliography of books that might be useful in teaching values as well as links to related sites on the Internet."
CharacterMatters.com is designed to be an educational, inspirational & practical resource: (1) emphasizing the importance of personal character to all else in life (character matters very much); & (2) examining and discussing issues related to character, character education, ethics, integrity, morality, moral education, moral development, values, and the like (matters about character). Character Matters was created by Dr. Russell W. Gough, Professor of Philosophy and Ethics, Pepperdine University (Malibu, CA).

Lady DaVinci's Salon
This site is a place of whole-person education and development. Today's Renaissance Woman has a lot to balance -- we have a responsibility to contribute to the financial welfare of the family but we may also be trying to balance many other things with our workplace responsibilities. These may include (though may not be limited to) husband, children, home, education, cultural, creative and leisure activities. They provide a reference library and cultural salon that will especially focus on encouraging the understanding of the different needs of the broadly educated and widely read Renaissance Woman.
